PASTORAL SHOUT OUT to Bethany Baptist Church of Christ Healthcare Titans;
Deacon Loretta English, Bonnie Lockhart, Natasha McPherson, Shelmadine Mitchell, Anita Raggs, Pat Pennant, Jackie Kennedy-Cross, Kiana Sharp, Regina Ellebb, Cheryl Malone, Margaret Murphy and Andrew Irving, for their unwavering commitment to the patients they continue to care for with compassion and the love of Christ! Your BBCOC family and I continuously pray for the sovereign hand of God to cover you in every aspect, as you selflessly care for those who are dependent on you! We are so Godly proud of your sacrifice.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[c] you were doing it to me!’
Thank you for visiting our site. Although Covid-19 has virtually altered our method of human interaction and movement, and immobilized critical sectors of the economy, Bethany Baptist Church of Christ remains committed to providing ministry, praying for all who are sick and suffering, or had loved ones die from the virus, as well as those who work in the medical/clinical profession. Recognizing and acknowledging the world at large is experiencing a global occurrence where there are more questions than answers, concerns are high, and spirits are low, I urge you to remember and be confident in the assurance that our God is faithful! He is with us, and as written in 2 Corinthians 1:4A, He is the One who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others! Just as Jesus spoke to the raging storm in the gospel of Matthew 8 and said, "Peace! Be still!" He can and will speak to the raging thoughts and emotions prompted by the spread of the Coronavirus. He can and will command the virus to decrease as rapidly as it has increased!
In addition to inviting you to join us for any of our virtual ministry services identified below, I also encourage you in the Lord, to use this time to nurture your spirit by:
